About the Opportunity

EMR's MBA Workshop is seeking a Multiskilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) who excels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will be a hands-on problem solver dedicated to engineering excellence and operational efficiency. As a vital member of the Engineering team, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on machinery and services

  • Conduct safety checks, machinery start-ups, and shutdowns to ensure optimal productivity

  • Identify and report equipment faults, carry out dynamic risk assessments, and champion a strong Health & Safety culture

  • Liaise effectively with production teams to support process improvements through collaboration

  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, tools and parts used, and sign-off on completed tasks

  • Mentor new team members and contribute to a positive team atmosphere during shift briefings and handovers

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area while ensuring proper care of tools and equipment

  • Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise disruption
