As Loadhog continues to expand, the company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented People and Culture Adviser to join its growing team. Position Overview
Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, this is a full-time, permanent position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Loadhog operates a flexible working policy, with office access available from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Role Purpose

The People and Culture Adviser will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the company’s people strategy, aligned with Loadhog’s 2030 vision. This generalist role will focus on supporting employee relations, performance management, and learning and development initiatives. The successful candidate will champion company values and help drive a culture that supports innovation, engagement, and personal development.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations and performance management issues

  • Manage flexible working requests and employment contract changes

  • Coordinate occupational health assessments and medicals

  • Identify training needs using personal development plans (PDPs) and appraisal data

  • Organise and support training and development programmes

  • Maintain accurate training records and skills matrices

  • Create and manage a company-wide training calendar

  • Oversee apprenticeship and internal training programmes

  • Monitor KPIs and maintain relevant dashboards

  • Promote and embed Loadhog’s core values (the Loadhog Edge)

  • Support People and Culture initiatives and projects across the business

  • Assist with recruitment activities including job advertisements, CV screening, and interviews

  • Ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a People & Culture or HR-related role, or CIPD qualified

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A proactive attitude towards learning and development

  • Excellent administrative skills and a keen eye for detail

  • Positive outlook with the ability to energise and inspire others

  • High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills

  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment

  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
