Process Improvement Junior Consultant at Fluere
- Hybrid
- Leeds, England, United Kingdom
Job description
Job Opportunity: Junior Consultant (Full-Time, Hybrid)
Fluere is seeking a driven, energetic, and ambitious individual who is passionate about improving how things work. The ideal candidate will be curious, analytical, and hands-on—someone who thrives in dynamic, change-focused environments and wants to make a real difference in UK manufacturing.
This full-time, hybrid role offers the opportunity to grow skills, work directly with clients, and contribute to meaningful operational improvements.
The Perfect Candidate Will Tick These Boxes:
A people person who genuinely enjoys engaging with others.
Organised, reliable, and hardworking, with a track record of getting things done.
Strongly motivated to make an impact on UK manufacturing.
Enthusiastic about problem solving, generating solutions, and seeing them through.
Proactive, with the confidence to bring new ideas to the table.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using spreadsheets and Microsoft Teams.
A clear and confident communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Excited to take on complex projects and roll up their sleeves.
Ambitious and driven, viewing the role as more than just a 9–5, with the desire to grow and progress at Fluere.
This position is not suited to someone who prefers to sit back and wait for instructions. From day one, the successful candidate will be hands-on, learning quickly, contributing to real projects, and helping deliver tangible value for clients.
What the Role Involves
This is not a typical junior role—there will be no tea runs or mindless spreadsheet copying. Instead, the Junior Consultant will be at the heart of operational improvement, working hands-on with manufacturers to transform how their businesses operate. Each day will bring fresh challenges, learning opportunities, and the chance to make a measurable impact.
Overall responsibilities include:
Shadowing experienced consultants to build consulting skills on live projects.
Learning and applying effective tools to identify problems, solve them, and drive performance.
Engaging in real improvement work, not just theory.
Building strong relationships with both clients and teammates.
Progressing through a structured development pathway, including official LCS certification, with training, coaching, and hands-on learning.
Specific responsibilities include:
Observing manufacturing operations to understand how processes work in detail.
Participating in client workshops, contributing ideas, and capturing key insights.
Collecting and analysing data to identify issues and opportunities others may overlook.
Supporting process redesign and operational streamlining, ensuring recommendations lead to action.
Assisting project managers in keeping projects on track and running smoothly.
Helping to produce reports, dashboards, and presentations that demonstrate impact.
Contributing to internal projects, systems, and business development initiatives.
